Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, content specialists, and digital product owners to transform business requirements and technical specifications into effective work products.
- Foster a culture of open communication, collaboration, and mutual respect. Mentor team members to enhance their career experiences and help them grow.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-engineered front-end code, setting a standard of excellence for other team members.
- Conduct code reviews and provide guidance on code management, release management, environment management, process flows, and documentation.
- Identify risks, barriers, efficiencies, and opportunities while planning development approaches.
- Explore all technical options when considering solutions, including custom coding, third-party sub-systems, enterprise platforms, and existing technology components.
- Participate in all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, technical design, coding, testing, and release support.
- Understand the lifecycle of various technology sub-systems that comprise the eCommerce platform, including current capabilities, compatibilities, limitations, and dependencies. Advise on optimal upgrade paths.
- Collaborate with key IT, QA, and other corporate colleagues to communicate and collaborate on cross-functional initiatives.
- Engage in collaborative technology discussions, accepting and providing constructive criticism in a professional manner.
- Develop technical documentation, such as system context diagrams, design documents, and release procedures.
- Troubleshoot production issues through hands-on efforts or delegation, ensuring timely resolution and progress tracking.
- Monitor web properties for uptime and proactively identify potential issues by analyzing trends, data, and monitoring reports.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in eCommerce, eBusiness, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years (5 years preferred) experience in a development role within an enterprise environment, responsible for the delivery and support of world-class technology solutions.
- Minimum of 3 years (5 years preferred) coding experience in the required language, platform, and/or technology.
- Minimum of 3 years (5 years preferred) experience developing solutions using modern tools and practices.
- Proficiency with code management systems.
- Proficiency with intake and task management tools.
- In-depth understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Proficiency with development frameworks and build tools.
- Experience with Agile delivery methodologies.
- Ability to multi-task and reprioritize in a dynamic environment.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
