Job Responsibilities

As a Data Engineer with expertise in Snowflake/Python, your key responsibilities will include:

• Setting up Extraction, Transformation, and Load (ETL) processes using tools such as Business Objects Data Integrator or Informatica.
• Developing, designing, testing, and implementing Business Intelligence (BI) solutions leveraging Snowflake and Python.
• Creating and maintaining test deliverables and artifacts (test plans, test cases, test results summary) for complex applications and system integrations for Finance (e.g., Oracle EBS, Mulesoft, and integrated SaaS applications).
• Assisting during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Cutover phases.
• Identifying and setting up test data, executing test cases, updating the test management tools, and reporting defects.
• Performing regression testing to validate the resolution of software or testing defects and ensuring automation.
• Creating comprehensive defect reports with steps, screenshots, and datasheet records.
• Building data pipelines between 3rd-party systems and our Data360 platform (Snowflake).

Required Skills

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

• 8+ years of experience with Snowflake and Python.
• 8+ years of experience in software development and/or quality engineering, particularly with packaged finance applications such as Zuora revenue and Sabrix tax engine.
• Strong knowledge of SQL language.
• Experience with Informatica IICS.
• Familiarity with Airflow (preferred).
