About This Role:

Rackner is on the lookout for a talented Sr. AWS Data Engineer to join our innovative team. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of technical duties including:

• Data Ingestion
• Building Data Pipelines
• Enhancing Web Infrastructure

What We Need:

We are seeking professionals equipped with:

• Proven software development skills, particularly using Python (PySpark, Pandas)
• Experience with Terraform
• Proficiency in developing cloud-based (AWS) software services and solutions
• Ability to create and drive large-scale ETL pipelines in AWS environments
• Integration of data from multiple sources
• Expertise in large-scale big data analytics pipelines
• In-depth knowledge of AWS big data technologies like S3, Glue, EMR, Kinesis, RDS, Redshift, Athena
• Experience managing Hadoop and Apache Spark clusters
• Strong SQL and relational database development skills, with platforms such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, AWS RDS
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases, including AWS DynamoDB
• Comprehensive understanding of additional AWS Services: EC2, S3, RDS, SageMaker, Athena, Glue, Lambda, EMR, and others
