Job Title: Data Engineer - Staff

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement secure, scalable, and highly available cloud-based solutions on Azure Cloud.
• Leverage strong SQL expertise and hands-on experience for data engineering tasks.
• Utilize Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, and PySpark for data processing and analytics.
• Integrate different data sources with Data Warehouse and Data Lake.
• Demonstrate use cases for Databricks and ensure efficient use of its features.
• Understand and apply Unity Catalog and Delta Lake concepts.
• Create data models, data warehouses, and data lakes for reporting, AI, and machine learning purposes.
• Understand data modelling and data architecture principles.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Identify and implement automation opportunities to enhance operational efficiency.
• Conduct knowledge-sharing and training sessions on cloud technologies.
• Contribute individually and lead a small team of 1-2 members.

Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of experience in the Data Engineering and Analytics domain.
• Hands-on expertise in SQL, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and PySpark.
• Experience in data integration, data modeling, and data architecture.
• Ability to work independently and lead a small team.
