About the Role: Data Engineer

We are actively seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining existing systems and creating new systems for collecting, validating, and preparing high-quality data. You will build pipelines that integrate data from various source systems, making this data easily accessible to our analysts and other stakeholders. Your work will support our diverse teams, including Product, E-commerce, Logistics, Finance, Customer Support, and HR.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data collection, processing, and transformation to create reliable data pools for further use
  • Close cooperation with data analysts and other stakeholders for system evaluations and source modifications
  • Building, testing, and maintaining database pipeline architectures
  • Consultation and advice on data collection methods and optimizing existing systems

Ideal Candidate:

  • 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, with exposure to a wide variety of data types
  • Proficient in SQL
  • Experience with ETL tools for creating/managing data integrations—experience with Keboola Connection is a plus
  • Familiarity with API connectors
  • Experience with cloud-based data storage and analytics platforms, such as Snowflake
  • Understanding of data analytics and presentation processes, and familiarity with BI platforms or tools such as Tableau
  • Skilled in Python & PySpark
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and communicate effectively in English, with Czech/Slovak preferred but not mandatory
  • Thorough, independent, reliable, process-oriented, and well-documented professional
  • Interest in cryptocurrency and new technologies
