What You Will Do

As a Data Engineer at Aimpoint Digital, you will:

  • Become a trusted advisor to a diverse set of clients, from data owners and analytics users to C-level executives.
  • Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver complex data and analytics projects across various industries.
  • Conduct strategic assessments of existing infrastructures and business processes.
  • Design and develop robust analytics frameworks, including data warehouses, data lakes, and ETL/ELT processes.
  • Empower business analysts by understanding their needs and providing solutions that enhance their operational efficiency.
  • Support data scientists by deploying machine learning models into production environments.
  • Optimize databases, queries, pipelines, and machine learning models for enhanced performance.

Note: This role does not involve developing machine learning models or algorithms.

Who We Are Looking For

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or comparable practical experience.
  • Proven ability to manage stakeholders and collaborate effectively with clients.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience in building and managing data pipelines across different data formats.
  • Proficiency in data modeling techniques such as star schema and entity-relationship models.
  • Strong coding skills in Python, Scala, Java, or a similar language.
  • A good understanding of software engineering principles, with DevOps experience being a plus.
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies, containers, various query languages, and database systems (SQL & NoSQL).
  • Prior consulting experience and a willingness to occasionally travel.
