Role Overview:

We are on the lookout for a proficient Data Engineer with a specialization in Data Visualization to enhance our Business Intelligence team. This role is crucial for supporting our data reporting and providing insights that drive decision-making across the organization. Ideal candidates will have expertise in tools like Looker, Power BI, or Tableau, and a history of managing large data sets to develop meaningful visualizations and reports.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines for analytics and reporting.
• Design visual reports and dashboards using tools such as Looker, Power BI, or Tableau.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical specifications, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
• Optimize data retrieval methods and advise team members on best data visualization practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Science, or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in data engineering with a focus on data visualization.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and familiarity with relational databases like PostgreSQL and MySQL.
• Proven expertise in Looker, Tableau, or Power BI and experience with big data pipeline architecture.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
• Proficiency in Python or R and familiarity with data modeling and ETL processes.
