Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will ensure the timely and quality delivery of analytic data services to our clients, represent Experian's analytic prowess in business development discussions, and lead the development and maintenance of analytical products focused on bureau data and alternative data sources.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to attribute design sessions and the planning, development, and testing of new functionality and enhancements.
  • Utilize BI tools like Tableau to create insightful reports and dashboards.
  • Ensure the integrity of source data, perform data mapping across various countries, and develop scripts in languages like Python, Spark, or Scala.
  • Manage the data and documentation repository, maintaining accurate and current records.
  • Translate complex business requirements into robust technical solutions, performing thorough data analysis and data modeling.

Favorable working hours are flexible, primarily between 10:00 – 19:00, to facilitate collaboration with team members located in Argentina and the USA.

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical skills, experience in modeling techniques including regression and machine learning.
  • Proficiency in Python is critical; knowledge of R, SAS, and BI tools like Tableau and Power BI is advantageous.
  • At least 3 years of experience in data manipulation analytics and modeling, preferably with consumer credit data or in financial services.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with platform engineering teams to ensure precise project execution.
