The Role: Data Engineering Within Digital R&D Data Team

As part of our Digital R&D Data team, you will be at the forefront of turning Sanofi into a data-first and AI-first organization. Our mission centers on empowering all Sanofi personnel with high-quality data, fostering unique competitive advantages through AI and machine learning. Your role will directly contribute to creating advanced, cloud-first solutions and managing technical development within our data-centric teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing technical frameworks to align with business and technical needs.
• Building, maintaining, and optimizing data engineering solutions and pipelines.
• Driving the creation and implementation of best practices for code management, testing, and deployments.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Mentoring junior team members and leading by example in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, coupled with at least 2 years of relevant experience in data engineering or a similar role. Proficiency in technologies like AWS, Snowflake, Spark, and experience with scripting languages such as Python, R, SQL, or Shell is crucial.
