As a member of our Operations team, you'll take pride in applying data collection, processing, and storage techniques to support our organization's growth. You will be the main contact for facilitating data access throughout the organization, ensuring the proper functioning, efficiency, and security of our databases to make data accessible and usable for analysis.

What You Bring to the Table
- Steward the organization's data life cycle management and oversight
- Integrate data from various sources
- Build and maintain data processing pipelines
- Design data models and schemas to optimize data storage and retrieval
- Identify and correct data inconsistencies to ensure quality
- Perform regular tests on data systems to resolve technical issues
- Develop and maintain business intelligence (BI) solutions using tools like PowerBI, SSRS, and others
- Facilitate access to relevant data to improve decision-making processes
- Ensure compliance with policies and regulations regarding data security and confidentiality
- Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to understand and meet organizational needs
- Compose comprehensive documentation on data processes and systems
- Act as the company's resource on data management
- Stay updated on best practices, tools, and technologies in data engineering
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, engineering, or a related field
- Master's degree in a related field is a plus
- 2 years of experience in data management
- Proficient in SQL and Python programming languages
- Experience with ETL processes or data warehouses
- Knowledge of PowerBI is an asset
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS is an asset)
- Comfortable with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform is a plus
- Experience with CRM and ERP systems is an asset
- Quick learner with a continuous improvement mindset
- Excellent communication skills in English and French, both oral and written
- Motivated, driven, and able to collaborate efficiently within a cross-functional team
- Sense of innovation, initiative, creativity, organization, and precision
- Good understanding of best practices in data engineering
