ManpowerGroup Greece, on behalf of its client, a Fortune 500 company that is a leader in its field, is seeking a Data Analytics Manager for their Tech Hub in Athens. The Tech Hub, employing over 60 staff, provides IT Services for all corporate functions of the organization in Europe and the USA.
Workplace location: Agia Paraskevi, Hybrid working model (3 days in office, 2 remote)
The role involves managing project demand and team workloads, conducting business analysis of analytic requests, and developing strategic plans for the continued evolution of Analytics.
Your reporting line will be to the Hub Manager (locally) and to the Director of the Applications Systems Development (globally).
The responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, Power BI development/support, SAP BW design and development, Data Warehouse design and management, Azure Synapsis development/support, and SQL administration.
Accountabilities of the role include:
- Directing the progress of all Data and Analytics related projects in collaboration with IT Project Managers, Business Analysts, Business Stakeholders, and the Enterprise Analytics team.
- Ensuring alignment of priorities across business functions and strategic initiatives by understanding the factors that enable success and business growth.
- Effectively managing analytics resources across production support and project activities.
- Providing guidance on project delivery approach, defining success criteria, communication plans, resource plans, etc.
- Assisting in the analysis, design, development, and testing of analytical applications/solutions.
- Driving the Data and Analytics Architectural Strategy.
- Representing the organization to third parties, including the management of offshore supplemental consulting staff.
Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in computer science is preferred.
Experience:
- 6+ years of total experience in IT development and/or analytics.
- 3+ years of experience as a Manager/Leader of IT teams.
- 3+ years of experience delivering projects.
Experience in the following areas will be considered a significant advantage:
- Managing large teams with remote workers/consultants.
- Project Management techniques.
- Business Process analysis.
- Power BI or similar Analytics Visualization tool.
Skills/Knowledge:
- Solid experience in managing teams in a complex, matrix organization.
- Project Management.
- Project/Resource Demand Skills.
The ability to review requirements and create functional specifications is an essential requirement.
