In this role, you'll design, develop, and deploy analytical solutions that enhance customer engagement and operational efficiency by understanding customer behaviors and identifying strategic opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

As a Data Engineering Associate, you will:

• Research and analyze diverse data sources to define relevant variables and transform them into actionable insights.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business priorities and opportunities, ensuring continuous partnership.
• Recommend comprehensive data solutions by partnering with technical experts, encompassing everything from data sources to transformation and deployment processes.
• Analyze data to narrate the business story it tells and support the implementation of analytical solutions across the business.
• Promote and support the implementation of analytical tools to optimize business processes through dashboards, reports, and ad hoc requests.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you need:

• Over 5 years of experience in data management, transformation, and analytics.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Analytics, Statistics, or a related field with a strong focus on data management.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and experience with diverse database technologies including Teradata, Oracle, Hadoop, as well as cloud solutions like AWS and Snowflake.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with a knack for articulating complex data in a clear, concise manner.
• A structured approach to coding, documentation, and a strong attention to detail.
• Experience with ETL tools, preferably Alteryx workflows.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following skills will enhance your candidacy:

• Financial services industry experience.
• Proficiency in designing and developing dashboards and visualizations in Tableau.
• (For internal candidates) Familiarity with internal JPMorgan Chase data platforms and applications such as ICDW, Hadoop, Customer Assist, and First Assist.
