Position - Data Engineering - Trainee

The System Engineer – Trainees will take on the responsibility of installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining operating systems, application software, and system management tools while assuring optimum levels of system and infrastructure availability.

System Engineer - Trainees will undergo on-job training for 3-6 months before commencing work on live projects. After training, Trainees are placed under senior resources and given system engineering assignments.

This role provides an exciting opportunity to enforce cloud computing on an enterprise scale.

Requirements

  • Continuous Improvement @ LRN's Infrastructure to support "Partner Retention" & "New Business Growth"; by ensuring high availability.
  • Simplify (Product Setup and Administration), Optimize (Security and Total Cost of Ownership) and being flexible (to scale horizontally & vertically) with an emphasis on process, automation, and resiliency.
  • Collaborate with the technology team to establish a global infrastructure on a cloud computing platform.
  • Perform script execution, database analysis, and operational actions.
  • Execute high end Database Performance Tuning and Optimization best practices.

Key Skills

  • Basic familiarity and understanding of Linux OR Windows O/S.
  • Exceptional learning and deep analytical skills are necessary.
  • Must be capable of functioning well in a team.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • B.Tech / B.E. / BCA / B.Sc (Computers) OR Equivalent.
  • Eagerness to learn and apply the learning.
  • Experience in cloud computing on AWS will be beneficial.
