About the Role:

As a Data Engineering Manager at NocNoc, you're tasked with shaping and leading our data infrastructure strategy. You will oversee the evolution of our data systems, ensuring alignment with our broader business objectives. Your role is pivotal in driving technological innovation and leveraging emerging technologies to maintain competitive advantage. You will empower stakeholders by making data comprehensible and actionable, contributing directly to our success.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and maintaining the vision, mission, and roadmap for data infrastructure.
• Aligning data strategies with NocNoc's overall business goals.
• Evaluating potential technology acquisitions to stay ahead in the industry.
• Enhancing data utility for stakeholders through effective communication and tools.
• Coaching and leading a high-performing data management team.

What We’re Looking For:

Qualifications & Experience:

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in technical roles with significant product management duties.
• 2+ years of experience in managing and scaling high-performing teams.
• Proven ability in ETL data pipelining suited for general and machine learning uses.
• Expertise in creating and managing data lakes, data warehouses, and data marts.
• Skills in developing data monitoring and quality measurement systems.
• Proficiency in BI/AI tools such as R, Python, Tableau, and Power BI.
• Experience with AWS cloud services including EC2, RDS, and Redshift.
• Familiarity with Apache SuperSet and SQL query engines like Trino for Big Data.
• Knowledge of programming in Python, Scala, and other scripting languages.
