Key Responsibilities

You will take charge by:

• Leading a dedicated data engineering team.
• Designing and implementing versatile data pipelines that include data ingestion, data preparation, and data analysis.
• Identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks to improve data processing and reduce latency.
• Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and develop effective solutions.
• Enforcing robust data governance practices and maintaining compliance with data security regulations.
• Providing mentorship to junior data engineers and promoting continuous learning and professional growth within the team.

Are You a Fit?

Ideal candidates will have:

• A Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Over 2 years of experience in a managerial role within data engineering.
• At least 5 years of software development experience, with proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala.
• Strong expertise in data streaming and processing technologies, specifically Apache Spark Structured Streaming and Kafka.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks, Delta Lake, or similar Lakehouse technologies.
• A proven ability to design and implement effective ETL pipelines, and real-time data analytics and integration processes.
