Job Role: Data Engineering - MTS/SMTS

Our Cloud Economics and Capacity Management (CECM) team in Hyderabad is actively seeking an experienced Data Engineer to enhance our data infrastructure. This role focuses on developing data pipelines and frameworks essential for strategic decision-making and efficient management of Salesforce's infrastructure and expenditures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, automate, maintain, and enhance ETL pipelines.
  • Design and implement robust automation data frameworks.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of data handling including performance tuning and system operations.
  • Analyze issues and determine root causes within production environments.
  • Engage with both internal stakeholders and external partners to fulfill data collection and analytical needs.
  • Collaborate with global teams across AMER and APAC regions.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Over 4 years of experience in data engineering, including expertise in data modeling and analytics.
  • Extensive experience with SQL, Python, and big data technologies such as Spark and Hive.
  • Experience in building scalable data pipelines and familiarity with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Proficiency in Agile and Scrum methodologies with a focus on CI/CD.
  • Tableau or similar data visualization tool skills are a significant advantage.
