Position Summary

We are seeking ambitious engineering students eager to develop their skills by working on vital projects in the cloud and data realms. During this internship, you'll engage with the Databricks platform to build and maintain data pipelines, manage data administration, and support various other platform operations. Collaborating closely with Senior Data Engineers and Architects, you'll ensure the timely completion of sprint-based tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage data pipelines on the Databricks platform.
• Program using Scala and Python to create efficient code notebooks.
• Deploy project stages using Terraform from development to production environments.
• Optimize costs and manage configurations across all Databricks workspaces.
• Enhance monitoring systems across all pipelines.
• Perform tasks to support team initiatives and assist customers in adopting Databricks.

Who We Are Looking For

Currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution or program in a related field with:

• Essential knowledge of Python and Scala.
• Desirable experience with Terraform and AWS Cloud.
• Preferred administration skills in Linux environments.
