Data Engineer/Project Leader

Department Function Maximize the business value from the data obtained from clients, the data held by IQVIA, and its technology. Build platforms that handle big data, reporting insights from the data, constructing data-driven business models, and utilizing AI to solve client and industry problems in the health business. Implement solutions to resolve these problems. Job Description Lead and perform tasks to build an analysis foundation of big data by applying the best practices in planning, requirement definition, design, and implementation phases. Application requirements Mandatory requirements Knowledge/Experience - A minimum of 3 years of direct communication and negotiation experience with users and experience in data infrastructure or BI system development. - Experience in project management with teams of 3 or more. - Logical thinking and project promotion ability to accurately understand customer requirements and properly advance requirement definitions and designs. - Development experience on a team level using configuration management tools like Git. Technical Skills - Database design and development experience with PostgreSQL / Oracle / SQL Server, etc. (including stored development by SQL). - Experience in at least one programming language such as SQL, shell script, Java, Python. Desirable but not mandatory requirements - Experience in data infrastructure/ BI system construction project in the medical industry. - Know-how and design and development experience considering non-functional requirements in Tableau, Dr.Sum/Motion Board, PowerBI, etc. and in BI tools. - Knowledge, design, and development experience in ETL tools such as DataSpider, SAS, SPSS. - Experience in big data technology like Hadoop/Spark, and data infrastructure/ BI system construction experience based on cloud platforms such as AWS / Azure. Language proficiency English: Business level is welcome (being able to read and write business papers, and being able to communicate in meetings with global teams is preferable).
