Job Description

MbSolutions Inc. is seeking skilled Data Engineers to support our Program Management and Data Management operations. The contractor will be responsible for performing technical and programmatic reviews of all requirements and data products. Additionally, the contractor will recommend strategies for product support, sustainment over time, and determine impacts on current supply chain data governance.

Key Responsibilities

• Determining technical specifications required and distributing requirements into workflow areas.
• Communicating with leadership and maintaining a portfolio of data products, including research, analysis, metrics, workflows, and architecture.
• Serving as the SCO technical and sustainment manager/executor for the AMC Predictive Analytics Suite (APAS) and Vantage data platform.
• Analyzing data requirements, mapping, and managing evolving requirements to capabilities in APAS, Vantage, Advance Analytics (ADVANA), and Strategic Support Area Business Reporting Environment (SABRE).
• Executing data engineering tasks, developing data products, and delivering them using Palantir Foundry, Power BI, or Tableau.
• Creating Power BI datasets and building tailored Power BI reports to support enterprise leadership decision-making.

Experience Required

Applicants must have over one year of experience integrating Army maintenance, logistics, financial, or contracting data into data-driven decision-making applications using an Army or DoD cloud big data analytics environment such as Army Vantage, AMC Predictive Analytics Suite (APAS), or Advana.

Experience must include building data pipelines using data from the Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-A), Logistics Modernization Program (LMP), or General Funds Enterprise Business System (GFEBS).

Educational Qualifications

A MS or Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) is required.

Technical Skills

Proficiency in data engineering programming in an Apache Spark environment using Spark SQL or PySpark is essential.
