ICF is actively seeking a skilled Data Analyst to specialize in Data Governance. This critical position requires comprehensive data governance analysis and management skills. Responsibilities include supporting the implementation of Data Governance Architecture, performing data quality and analysis assessments, working on Master Data Management programs, and supporting data privacy and security governance processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Document and define best practices for Data Governance
  • Lead adoption processes and research emerging best practices
  • Implement Data Governance Strategies
  • Provide specialized support for Data Governance-related issues
  • Facilitate process implementation and re-engineering
  • Manage change and continuous process improvement
  • Conduct root cause analysis

Specific Duties

  • Gather functional and technical requirements for Data Governance projects
  • Create and maintain process flows, policies, and procedures
  • Perform data analysis, profiling, and quality assessments
  • Identify and document data retention, privacy, security, and access requirements
  • Implement and maintain governance strategies
  • Identify and document Critical Data Elements (CDE) for Golden Records
  • Define Match and Merge and Trust rules for Master Data Management
  • Apply standardization and normalization policies across enterprise data assets
  • Triage and investigate user inquiries for dataset availability
  • Query and analyze data to derive business insights
  • Define approaches for improving data quality, such as data validation, cleansing, and profiling
  • Ensure data privacy and security measures, maintaining compliance with relevant regulations
  • Define and monitor KPIs/Metrics
  • Ensure the adoption of required policies and standards across the enterprise
  • Resolve issues raised by business and functional data governance leaders

Required Skills

  • 4 years of experience as a Data or Business Analyst
  • 2 years of experience in implementing Data Governance projects

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Informatica Axon and Databricks Unity Catalog
  • Auditing Master Data Management (MDM) data and rules
  • Auditing data governance structures and outputs
  • Proficiency in Structured Query Language (SQL)

Compensation

The pay range for this position is $84,533.00 - $143,706.00, considering factors like relevant work experience, skills, certifications, competencies, geographic location, and contract provisions for labor categories specific to the position.

This position is for a Nationwide Remote Office (US99).
