About the Role

The Investment Data Team is a newly established operational capability within Rest’s Investments Services and Transformation organisation. This team supports all aspects of data, reporting, and analytical needs for our growing Investment business.

As a Data Analyst, you will oversee daily monitoring and data quality checks to ensure accurate, timely, and usable data for the Investments team. You will maintain and validate Investment data, oversee databases and systems, and ensure data integrity for reporting and analytics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data mapping, definitions, and procedure documentation
  • Metadata management (catalogue, lineage)
  • Data process compliance and risk assurance
  • Data quality check execution, investigation, and resolution
  • Data retention, audit, and regulatory compliance
  • Business process optimisation for Data and Analytics operations

About You

Qualifications:

  • Relevant tertiary degree and/or diploma

Required Experience:

  • Experience in data analysis in data management or investment analytics functions
  • Proficiency with data platforms (AWS, Snowflake, Azure) and integration technologies
  • Exposure to BI and analysis tools like PowerBI, Tableau, Python, R, Excel
  • Proficiency in SQL programming
  • Ability to engage with key stakeholders in the Front Office and Investment Analytics teams
