Job Opportunity: Data Governance Associate Director

We are seeking an experienced Data Governance media expert to join our multi-disciplinary team. This role offers the chance to work with one of the world’s top global technology firms, focusing on delivering the greatest digital marketing in the world.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, engineer, document, and implement a data governance framework, including workflows, processes, standards, and procedures for managing data quality and integrity.
  • Create and validate data mapping and business rules to meet KPI metric requirements.
  • Monitor and evaluate data quality across multiple systems, implementing measures to enhance accuracy, availability, and reliability.
  • Lead collaborative conversations between business and technology stakeholders to define and implement data management initiatives.
  • Train stakeholders on data strategies, processes, procedures, and tools, facilitating productive conversations to address data challenges.
  • Develop and manage consistent taxonomy and naming conventions throughout the data lifecycle.
  • Serve as the point of contact for regional clients and internal teams regarding data governance emergencies and escalations.
  • Oversee Data Governance associates in managing taxonomy across platforms.
  • Ensure data collection aligns with the client’s measurement framework.
  • Collaborate with dashboard development teams to ensure data standards and requirements are met for new and existing views.

Qualifications

  • Leadership and expertise in data governance standards across Media and First Party Data.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address business challenges.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Strong process, project management, and training support skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Excel, including pivot tables, formula functions, and macros.
  • Experience with project management tools such as Jira, SmartSheets, and Microsoft Project.
  • Familiarity with digital media technologies like ad servers and Campaign Frameworks.
  • Meticulous, independent, and capable of managing multiple tasks and communications simultaneously.
