Data Governance - Senior Consultant at Guidehouse

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct interviews with client stakeholders to evaluate current metadata management and data governance capabilities.
- Translate use cases into technical requirements for implementation in Collibra.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to analyze data dictionaries and business glossaries to identify metadata gaps.
- Provide guidance in configuring workflows, roles, views, and audit reports within Collibra.
- Support lineage creation and role development for data governance in Collibra.
- Define data quality metrics and develop phased implementation plans.
- Work with the Collibra implementation team to configure metamodels, roles, permissions, and views.
- Leverage the Collibra API to integrate with various data repositories.
- Develop applications to facilitate metadata ingestion from external sources to Collibra.
- Collect and analyze documentation to support data governance efforts.
Requirements
Must-Have Qualifications:
- US Citizenship
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum 3 years of experience with Collibra data catalog, data governance, lineage, privacy, and quality capabilities
- Minimum 3 years of API development experience
- Minimum 3 years of enterprise metadata management experience
- Strong understanding of the data lifecycle
- Experience in defining and operating data governance bodies
- Knowledge of industry best practices in data management
- Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders to implement data standards
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree
- Experience in a top-tier commercial or public sector consulting firm
- Collibra Ranger or similar certification
- Data Management certification (e.g., CDMP or Collibra)
- Knowledge of federal data requirements and regulations
Compensation
The annual salary range for this position is $109,100 to $163,700. Compensation decisions depend on various factors including skills, experience, training, and other organizational needs.
