Data Governance Solution Lead - Manager at State Street

Role Description

Join the Chief Data Office in Global Technology Services (GTS) at State Street to help govern and enhance data health across the enterprise. We are initiating multiple projects to capitalize on our Operating Model and enhance value for our clients. We seek an experienced Enterprise Data Governance Implementation Solution Lead with over 10 years of leadership in engineering, specializing in Collibra Tools within AWS cloud environments. As a Subject Matter Expert (SME), you will be pivotal in maintaining application stability and ensuring high-quality deliverables aligned with best practices and frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

As a Technical Solution Lead, your duties will include:

• Implementing solutions using Data Governance tools such as Collibra DIC, DQ, LH, & DP.
• Deriving technical designs from product owner requirements/use cases.
• Enabling self-service for business users on Data Governance tools related to Data Cataloguing, Data Lineage, Data Quality, and Data Privacy.
• Automating and integrating solutions in cloud environments with associated services.
• Utilizing DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Python scripting to enhance system operations and deployments.
• Proactively addressing technical debts and outlining technical roadmaps for application reliability.

Core/Must-Have Skills

• Minimum 10 years of robust implementation experience in Enterprise Data Governance applications, especially Collibra components.
• Expertise in Application Integration & Automation, proficient in Python/UNIX scripting.
• Strong knowledge of AWS cloud infrastructure and solutions, including EC2, Lambda, and Secret Manager.
• Experience implementing Agile methodologies with tools such corresponding to JIRA & Confluence.
• Capability in implementing solutions for Reporting and Scheduling processes.
• Familiarity with managing DevOps processes including Git and Jenkins.

Additional Skills (Nice to Have)

• AWS, Collibra Solution Lead/Architect Certifications are preferred.
• Good understanding of database management concepts.
