Role Overview: Customer Success Leader
We are looking for a Customer Success Leader to lead our enterprise stewardship community in adopting data governance and management best practices. This critical role will enable our data citizens to effectively use and manage our data assets.
Key Responsibilities
Functional Expert:
- Consult and support business and technology customers in understanding data governance and management, driving enterprise data maturity, and developing data strategies.
- Engage domain data leaders and practitioners to identify data problems and use-cases for operational reporting, analytics, and data-driven decision-making.
- Support domain data leaders in implementing a data governance framework aligned with enterprise strategy, policy, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead use case activation with prioritized domains, drive maturity and success, and report progress to stakeholders.
- Facilitate workshops for use case definition and prioritization, build data products, oversee data quality, and ensure data protection.
- Develop and implement playbooks and SOPs for data stewards using enterprise tools.
Connector:
- Align data management initiatives with the overall organizational framework and strategy.
Collaborator:
- Utilize your expertise as a Customer Success Manager to drive the success of our data governance principles.
Innovator:
- Spearhead initiatives that push the boundaries of data governance and management innovation.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree or equivalent experience in Information Management or Library and Information Science preferred.
- 6-8 years of experience in large data transformations focusing on data governance and privacy.
- In-depth knowledge of data management and governance principles, implementations, and industry trends.
- Proven ability to manage multiple business customers, including engaging with senior leadership to drive data governance initiatives.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with a knack for empowering multi-functional teams effectively.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and dedication to quality.
Preferred:
- Experience in consulting or product management is valuable.
- Proficiency in metadata and data quality tools like Atlan, Collibra, Informatica, Alation, Atacama, and Talend.
