About the Role

We are seeking a talented Data Integration Engineer, an integral position to be based in our office or at client sites, with a flexible option of working remotely one day per week. This role involves hands-on experience in designing and implementing data warehouse and data mart solutions for large financial institutions. As a Data Integration Engineer at MUFG, you will play a pivotal role in driving our mission to be the world's most trusted financial group.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and develop data warehouse solutions using advanced data architecture and technologies. - Create Informatica ETL mappings and workflows for complex, large-scale data projects in the banking industry. - Develop and maintain ETL mappings, workflows, and scripts executing in both normalized and denormalized data environments. - Engage continuously with business and technology teams to analyze requirements, ensuring the delivery of top-quality solutions. - Ensure the rigorous testing, troubleshooting, and code reviews to elevate performance and functionality standards. - Collaborate closely with stakeholders to meet business, technical, quality, and security standards in line with organizational goals.

Required Qualifications:

- A minimum of 7 years in technical software development, with strong expertise in ETL implementations using Informatica. - At least 5 years of experience in the banking or financial services sector. - Proficiency in Unix Shell Scripting, designing relational and dimensional databases, and scheduling batch jobs. - Hands-on experience with Python, HIVE, or AWS is essential. - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Compensation & Benefits:

The typical base salary for this role ranges between $110K and $134K, depending on your job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, this position may be eligible for discretionary performance-based bonuses and/or incentive compensation.
