The Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a Data Integrations Consultant to join Modern Campus on a 12-month contract as an Independent Consultant. In this critical role, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of data integrations between our solutions and our clients' Student Information Systems (SIS), among other applications. You will actively define and refine project scopes, manage changes, discover and align data and business rules, and handle comprehensive documentation of client environments within a lean-agile service process.

As the primary liaison for integration projects, you will confirm project scopes, schedule timelines, and facilitate the delivery of materials. Your deep understanding of Modern Campus software and services will be crucial in guiding clients through data mapping processes, building data dictionaries, documenting business rules, and configuring synchronous/asynchronous communication setups. Additionally, you will drive data discovery, create user stories for integration development, and lead client support until project completion.

What We Offer:

As an Independent Consultant, this role provides a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $100,000, based on experience and qualifications. Modern Campus promotes a remote-first workplace, allowing you to work from anywhere in North America. This flexible environment helps our team members excel and achieve their goals efficiently.

What You Offer:

Ideal candidates will have a University degree or College diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or possess relevant professional experience. Additionally, applicants should have at least 3+ years in Data Integration roles, with a strong preference for those with 2+ years in end-to-end data mapping on integration projects. Experience in higher education sectors and extensive knowledge of Student Information Systems is highly beneficial. Successful candidates will demonstrate a data-oriented approach to problem-solving, critical thinking skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and robust communication skills. The capacity to build quick rapport, understand client needs, and adapt to changing priorities is essential.
