As part of the Chief Data Office, this role focuses on implementing and overseeing the data management strategy across diverse business functions.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Execution: Spearhead project management activities, from initiation to completion, aligning deliverables with business objectives, engaging with experts, and supporting pivotal stakeholder meetings.

Project Management: Oversee various short to medium-term projects, craft detailed plans, engage in proactive status monitoring, and create extensive reports and communications.

Issue Resolution: Lead the resolution of critical issues, fostering necessary stakeholder engagements, and managing strategic communications related to project impacts.

Leadership and Results: Achieve exceptional outcomes through strategic leadership, handling multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.

Diversity and Inclusion: Actively participate in initiatives set out by the CDAO DEI Council and CDO People Agenda, promoting an inclusive workplace culture.

Data Compliance and Coordination: Manage specific data-related functions such as privacy and storage, ensuring adherence to both global and local regulations.

Partnership and Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with key departments including AI/ML teams, Research, Front Office, and Operations to enhance the data-driven culture across the firm.

Required Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

Academic Background: Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field.

Professional Experience: 4-6 years in finance or operations, preferably within major financial institutions.

Project Management: Proven track record in leading project planning, execution, and reporting.

Technical Skills: Familiarity with technology and data management; proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel is essential.

Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, capable of engaging effectively with all levels of management.

Strategic Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with excellent organizational and time management capabilities.

Leadership: Ability to work independently and collaboratively, maintaining flexibility and a high tolerance for ambiguity in a dynamic environment.
