Your Role and Opportunities at JPMorgan Chase:

Our organization offers a unique flat-structure, providing you with direct access to higher management and decision-making processes. In this critical role, you will collaborate extensively with the firm’s Chief Data Office to enhance data management practices across areas like Data Governance, Usage, Quality, Storage, Retention, Destruction, and Protection.

A strong candidate will display a deep commitment to managing data quality issues, including performing impact analysis, ensuring compliance with standards, and collaborating with various teams to safeguard data integrity. This role places you at the heart of our operations, where your expertise will directly influence the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of the data we handle.

Core Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage the entire lifecycle of data quality issues according to established policies and procedures.
  • Perform detailed impact analysis, prioritize and triage data quality issues while meticulously documenting all processes.
  • Work alongside process, data, and application owners to pinpoint critical data elements and champion the design of business data quality controls.
  • Ensure smooth and registered data flows between applications and uphold technical data integrity across platforms.
  • Continuously monitor data quality risks, updating the data governance council on potential concerns and solutions.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in managing the lifecycle of data quality issues, with proficient use of cloud technologies for data checks.
  • Prior role within the Office of the Chief Data Office in the BFSI sector.
  • Ability to forge positive relationships with stakeholders and influence decision-making processes.
  • Strong communication skills, with a knack for clear and effective risk and issue description suitable for CXO level review.

Preferred Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of Data Governance practices including Data Protection, Storage, and Destruction.
  • Experience with Microservices architecture and data streaming technologies like Kafka.
  • Familiarity with AWS cloud services.
