About the Role

Join our dedicated Strategic Property Services team in a vital role where you will handle the production, development, and management of critical AutoCAD and GIS plans essential for the Council's Corporate Asset Management Plan. You will collaborate closely with team members on managing and enhancing the Property Asset Management System (PAMS) and producing detailed 2D AutoCAD floor plans and GIS Mapping for the council's property assets. Your contributions will ensure accurate data recording and help resolve system discrepancies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct measured property surveys across the county to draft 2D AutoCAD floor plans.
  • Enhance and maintain CAD and GIS mapping systems.
  • Ensure precision in data logging in PAMS and assist in resolving any disparities.
  • Handle internal and external enquiries relating to land ownership, interpreting ownership data from legal documents.
  • Support revisions and updates to internal system operations to enhance user accessibility and data integrity.
  • Provide system administration and user training to optimize property data utilization.

About You

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification such as BSc in Architectural Technology and Practice or a minimum Level 2 2D AutoCAD City & Guilds.
  • Proven experience with 2D AutoCAD/GIS systems and the ability to interpret complex data accurately.
  • Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office, and excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • A valid UK driving license or the ability to travel across various sites efficiently.
