As a Data Management Documentation Specialist II, you'll take charge of developing both technical and non-technical communication materials for the Experian Data Development team. Collaborate with top-tier professionals across various departments, including CIS, Operations, Data Analysis, Quality Assurance, Product Management, and Sales under the guidance of the Documentation & Training Manager. Your role is crucial in addressing and executing the documentation needs that adhere to regulatory standards while enhancing our operational efficiencies.
Proven experience in technical writing and editing is essential, with 5-8 years in related fields. A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience is required. You should be adept with Microsoft Office 365 tools like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Adobe Acrobat, and have a solid understanding of documentation management systems/practices. Your excellent organizational, project management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills will be key in this role. The ability to perform effectively both independently and as part of a team is crucial.
Your main tasks will include translating complex information into user-friendly content, collaborating with various teams to develop and refine documentation, and managing multiple projects with precision. You'll also maintain and update existing materials to ensure they remain relevant and accurate, complying with Experian’s standards, and actively participate in the governance and periodic review of documents.
The ideal candidate will quickly grasp new technical and business concepts and has strong analytical capabilities with meticulous attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are a must, and knowledge of the financial services or lending industry is an advantage.
Your responsibilities will extend to researching, developing, and continuously updating a variety of technical documentation essential for operational procedures and project support. This role is integral in facilitating the smooth transition of information from development to production processes.
