About the Role

As a Data Management Lead, you will oversee our Data Governance framework to enhance the quality and integrity of our data throughout the drug development and commercialization processes. This role involves maintaining governance standards, generating quality insights from diverse data sets, and promoting tools for real-time data quality monitoring and process enhancements.

You will collaborate with various GSK stakeholders to deploy data framework maturity steps within our digital data and analytics landscape. Your expertise will also guide the validation, governance, and curation of data, ensuring high standards and compliance across all platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and refine the PPM data governance and quality framework.
• Lead the creation and periodic review of the Data Quality Management Plan and dashboard, ensuring data integrity across all functional areas.
• Collaboratively work with project managers (PMs) to maintain high data quality standards.
• Perform independent reviews following significant data issues to mitigate risks effectively.
• Engage in Proof of Concepts for data interoperability and contribute to advancements in machine learning, ontologies, and automation.
• Analyze and map data flows, ensuring all team-generated data documentation is complete and accurate.
• Contribute to the training and development of team members and stakeholders on new data practices and technologies.

Basic Qualifications

Prospective candidates should have:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Economics, Finance, Life Science, Software Engineering, Math, Bioinformatics, or a related discipline.
• Over 10 years of experience in data management, data governance, or a similar role within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
• At least 3 years of experience with SQL, database, and data governance technologies like SQL Server, Collibra, MDM Informatica, Reltio.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be advantageous:

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Proven capabilities in proactive data governance and quality issue resolution.
• Experience with Agile project methodologies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Relevant certifications in MDM or data governance.
