Job Description

We are excited to announce that we are looking for a seasoned Data Management Specialist to work on the ADB-funded Integrated Flood Resilience and Adaptation Project in the Philippines. This initiative is aimed at boosting flood and climate change resilience in line with the Philippines Development Plan of 2023-2028, specifically targeting risk reduction across three critical river basins.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a thorough review of existing information systems.
• Design the hardware and software components of the AMIS-FRM, and prepare the Terms of Reference (TOR) for its application development.
• Liaise with system development contractors to support database and system design.
• Manage the quality of AMIS-FRM applications.
• Create comprehensive manuals and training materials for the AMIS-FRM.
• Deliver training on field data collection systems and database management to the DPWH staff.

Qualifications

Prospective candidates should hold a minimum of a bachelor's degree in Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Engineering, or a related field, coupled with at least 10 years of professional experience. This experience should include a minimum of 8 years in designing, developing, and implementing information communication systems. Expertise in hardware and software environments, network configurations, and the operational maintenance of asset management information system applications is essential.
