Job Description: What you'll be doing

As a Data Management Specialist at Clarity, a division of Experian, you will hold a key position within our Data Management Team. Your role will focus on managing the accuracy and integrity of consumer data provided by Clarity's clients and partners. This role involves significant interaction with multiple functional teams including Technology, Product Management, Operations, Sales, and Legal/Compliance. A detailed understanding of Clarity’s business operations and the credit reporting industry is essential.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Monitor and evaluate data reporting activities by clients, ensuring compliance with Clarity’s standards.
  • Conduct trend analysis and performance evaluation of data furnishers.
  • Perform manual data reviews in a real-time environment to verify data accuracy.
  • Analyze reporting trends to recommend and implement process enhancements.
  • Develop and execute remediation plans for data furnishers that do not meet required standards.
  • Manage policy compliance and conduct audits on data furnisher activities.
  • Maintain effective communication with internal teams and external data furnishers.

Qualifications: What your background looks like

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business/Economics or Mathematics/Statistics with an understanding of risk analysis.
  • Proficiency in SQL or SAS and familiarity with data monitoring tools like Tableau.
  • Basic project management skills and experience in a SCRUM environment.
  • Strong initiative, motivation, and capacity to manage complex projects.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of managing relationships with all stakeholders.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience with data loan reporting and a thorough understanding of FCRA and CFPB guidelines.
  • Familiarity with the financial and banking service industry is beneficial but not mandatory.
