Job Description

Role Summary

As a Data Management Technician, you'll oversee the entire lifecycle of data projects, including requirement management, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance. Your responsibilities will involve monitoring production services and supporting clients during tests, incidents, and requests.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements, design, develop, test, and deploy data quality/enrichment projects.
• Maintain and operate existing data integration, quality, enrichment, and normalization processes.
• Ensure strict adherence to Experian’s security and compliance regulations.
• Execute and support security-related requests (e.g., static scan-veracode, risk assessments).
• Provide L2 and L3 support for data quality-related incidents/requests, including analysis, resolution, and deployment.
• Monitor service performance to identify and implement enhancements.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

• Proficient in Solution Design, Java, .Net, Oracle, and SQL Server development.
• Experience with ETL tools (Powercenter, Alteryx) and Data Quality tools (Aperture, Informatica DQ).
• Superb problem-solving and analytical skills in Incident Management.
• Advanced understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
• Excellent knowledge of business technology and systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in data management projects utilizing the listed technologies.
• ITIL V3-V4 certification.
• Fluent in English (C2-C1 level).

What You'll Bring

As part of Experian’s Data Quality team, you will contribute to large projects such as Ascend and MDM. Starting FY25, this team will handle Data Quality projects for all Experian assets (CI, BI, and MI). Your technical expertise will be vital for our continued success.
