About the Role

As a Data Modeler II, you will play a crucial role in building and enhancing our reporting and analytics platform. Utilizing data from our business-oriented web applications, you will focus on:

  • Data modeling and mapping to transform complex business requirements into scalable solutions.
  • Creating actionable dashboards and analytic tools.
  • Optimizing data structures for peak performance, ensuring efficient data retrieval and processing.

Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and AWS, along with a strong background in data analysis, modeling, and report development, is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop effective data models aligned with business needs.
  • Integrate disparate data sources while maintaining consistency and meeting data modeling standards.
  • Analyze data to extract insights and patterns that drive decision-making and quality improvements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business intelligence, reporting, and data warehousing solutions that fulfill their analytical needs.
  • Mentor junior team members, promoting best practices and continual learning within the team.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Expertise in SQL and relational databases, with a thorough understanding of dimensional modeling and data warehousing principles.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS, and proficiency in BI tools like Sisense BI, QuickSight, or Power BI.
  • Strong analytical skills to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and stakeholder engagement.
