The Data Contributor Services organization comprises a team of Operations Consultants who are in charge of handling the intake and quality of all data within the USIS business division of Equifax. They also act as the relationship manager and Subject Matter Expert (SME) for data contributors across various data domains. As a Data Operations Analyst in this organization, the ideal candidate should be prepared to establish and manage relationships with data contributors, supervise the ingestion of billions of rows of data each month, and function as the primary point of contact for their assigned group of data contributors. Responsibilities encompass monitoring, researching, and responding to data contributor activities including credit reporting submissions, queries, audits, and data contributor onboarding/offboarding procedures. The analyst should possess the ability to analyze massive datasets, showcase technological adeptness, and be conversant with the FCRA regulations and Metro 2 reporting guidelines. The individual will flourish in a demanding fast-paced setting and is seeking an opportunity to progress professionally and technically. Your role will involve: - Acting as the relationship manager for data contributors (financial institutions, payment processors, fintech startups, etc). - Overseeing billions of rows of data that stem from data contributors (consumer and commercial tradeline data). - Monitoring, researching, and responding to data contributor activity including file update submissions, data reporting queries, audits, and onboarding/offboarding procedures. - Analyzing large datasets, demonstrating technological savoir-faire, and being cognizant of the FCRA regulations and Metro 2 reporting guidelines. - Facilitating on-site visits and annual data reviews with data contributors. - Being recognized as SME in data processing/cleansing technology, data exchange guidelines, and data reporting regulatory guidance. - Providing support and consultation to customers, sales, and other teams. - Comprehending internal system modifications, business rules, and overall data governance. - Keeping up-to-date with external regulatory and industry reporting changes. - Consulting with clients and preparing understandable messaging for the data contributors to express how changes might affect them. - Coordinating with customers and programmers to execute custom solutions that provide data to customers to enable impactful decisions. Drafting the necessities and quality checking the work executed by programmers to ensure changes affecting production are accurately implemented. Your qualifications should include: - Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Business, Computer Science, or related field. - 4-5 years of experience managing Big Data. - Proficiency in project and relationship management. - Comfortable with using MS Office, Google Workspace (preferred), and Salesforce. - Robust skills in data analysis and querying with language like SQL. - Proficiency in drafting technical instructions for IT programming/ implementation. Business Intelligence skills are a plus. - Aptitude to categorize and identify patterns/anomalies in large data sets. What might give you an edge: - Knowledge of FCRA regulations and Metro 2 credit reporting guidelines and requirements is preferred. - Familiarity with cloud-based data visualization tools such as Looker, Data Studio etc., is a bonus. - Knowledge of electronic file transmission (SFTP/FTP/Internet) protocols/procedures.
