Data Operations Analyst Opportunity at WisdomTree

Join WisdomTree's Technology team as a Data Operations Analyst and contribute to simplifying and optimizing our daily data workflows. Reporting to the Global Head of Data Engineering, this role is pivotal in transforming how we consume, manage, and distribute data within our growing data ecosystem. This position plays a crucial role in our multi-pronged approach to database stewardship and governance.

Key Responsibilities

As a Data Operations Analyst, your success will be measured by:

• Investigating, correcting, and minimizing broken pipeline workflows.
• Ensuring the efficiency of the global daily ETL batch cycle process.
• Developing robust workflow management solutions.
• Enhancing data governance practices for exception handling and reporting to stakeholders to reduce "time to correction".
• Facilitating a seamless transition of Operations, Research, and Sales projects from development to production.
• Overseeing daily file deliveries to external and internal FTP stakeholders, ensuring accurate destinations.
• Ensuring timely delivery of monthly and quarterly reporting suites.
• Taking on various DBA responsibilities to support an expanding user base.
• Acting as the point person for nightly entity batch processes (Fundamentals, Benchmarks, Performance, Lipper, etc.).
• Coordinating with departments in the US and EU to develop new SLAs and improve existing ones, focusing on requirements gathering, end-to-end workflow creation, deployment, and troubleshooting.

Experience and Skills

Ideal candidates will have:

• 1-3 years of experience in back-office operations and workflow stewardship (entry-level).
• Preferred experience in financial services.
• Familiarity with workflow management and automation tools such as Control-M.
• Knowledge of Python, T-SQL, and MSSQL Server 2014+ is a plus.
