Data Operations Analyst Are you seeking a valuable role within an expanding team? Expedia Group’s Global Data Sharing team is in search of a driven, energetic individual to support an array of regulatory initiatives. We're looking for someone to implement exceptional operational methodologies and coordinate with a diverse, global team to ensure Expedia Group meets worldwide data-sharing demands. As a Data Operations Analyst, your responsibilities will include maintaining close alignment with key departments to ensure our adapting global data sharing requirements are effectively planned and implemented. You will collaborate with our Data Infrastructure Engineer and Program Manager on reporting requirements, and work across various teams to address and resolve compliance-related issues. We need someone passionate about problem-solving and detail-oriented. You will cooperate with regional leaders, Product, Marketing, Customer Experience, Tax, Legal, and Government Affairs to fulfill compliance requirements and monitor overall progression. Main responsibilities: - Exhibit Expedia Group’s commitment to community partnerships. - Work within a cross-functional team to comprehend global data sharing needs to complete reporting, analysis, and investigations. - Load and transform data from various sources for international compliance reporting. - Compile data-sharing reports and analytics throughout the E2E reporting process. - Prepare and send data-sharing files to government authorities via different methods. - Scrutinize data quality for consistency and accuracy and find resolutions. - Constantly enhance compliance processes and methods, identifying and addressing compliance gaps. - Cooperate with Product and Engineering to input ideas on scalable processes and tools. - Establish quality control feedback loops within Expedia Group. - Rapidly and methodically build data models and present data analytics to guide decision-making and testing to facilitate breakthroughs. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience. - Minimum one-year experience in operations and/or E-commerce. - Experience with regulatory compliance operations; knowledge of two-sided marketplaces is an advantage. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a power to influence others. - Proficiency in SQL, Tableau, Excel, JIRA. - Experience with Power BI is a plus. - Experience using various data analytic tools. - Openness to new insights and opinions; active listener. - Ability to quickly adapt and address unfamiliar or urgent issues. - Strong partnership, influence, and team motivation skills. - Commitment to continuous development and mastery of your field. The salary range for this position in Seattle, Dallas, and Austin is $69,000.00 to $96,500.00, with the potential to increase pay up to $110,500.00 based on sustained effective performance. Initial pay may vary based on several factors such as location, available budget, knowledge, skills, and experience. These pay rates may be revised in the future.
