Role Overview: Data Operations Associate

In this pivotal role, you will support the day-to-day operations of our Prime Broker Services and Clearing teams. Your core responsibility will be to meet and exceed the expectations of our stakeholders, ensuring their business needs and requirements are catered to effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Timely and professional response to stakeholder inquiries.
  • Address and resolve discrepancies related to Client Account Mappings.
  • Manage the comprehensive client onboarding process tailored for Prime Trading activity.
  • Collaborate closely with team members to review and approve account openings.
  • Develop a nuanced understanding of our customers' business and operational goals.
  • Interface with essential business groups such as Legal, Compliance, Credit, and Line of Business Operations.
  • Drive collaboration across various sectors including Markets and Prime segments.
  • Champion process stabilization and enhancements within the Account Reference Data Utility area.
  • Address and remove any obstacles that might impede the onboarding process.
  • Maintain a delicate balance between quality, regulatory, and policy compliance.
  • Build robust relationships with both new and existing stakeholders.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree complemented by 3+ years of experience in banking operations.
  • Strong capacity to prioritize tasks and excel under tight deadlines.
  • Advanced analytical abilities with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Tableau, and Alteryx, supporting significant computer literacy.
  • Excellent team collaboration skills to achieve shared goals.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven ability to achieve results through effective interpersonal, communication, and influence.
  • In-depth understanding of the Financial Services industry’s products and processes.
  • Preferable experience in Middle or Back-Office Operations.
  • Leadership in Process Improvement and Automation.
  • Ability to manage and execute tasks independently.
