The Role

As a Data Operations Associate, your primary task will be to operationally manage human data collection campaigns essential for AI research and development. You will play a pivotal role in translating research needs into practical actions, collaborating with vendors to initiate and oversee data collections crucial for model development and evaluation.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Collection Setup: Define requirements, identify data sources and vendors, and manage project scopes and timings.
• Vendor and Rater Management: Negotiate contracts, ensure adherence to quality standards and compliance, and maintain communication.
• Stakeholder Management: Act as the liaison between various teams, managing project progress, resolving issues, and ensuring smooth collaboration.
• Data Collection Monitoring: Oversee data quality, consistency, and ethical adherence; generate reports, and review capacities regularly.
• Administrative Support: Maintain comprehensive documentation of data collection projects for consistency and review.
• Process Improvement: Continuously seek ways to enhance the efficiency and scalability of data collection processes.

About You

To thrive as a Data Operations Associate at DeepMind, you should have:
