Sr. AWS Data Engineer Position at Rackner - Remote, Public Trust Eligible

Rackner is on the lookout for a highly skilled Sr. AWS Data Engineer to join our innovative team. This remote position is ideal for individuals who are eligible for Public Trust clearance and have a passion for cloud-native solutions.

About This Role

The Sr. AWS Data Engineer at Rackner will be responsible for:

• Data Ingestion: Designing systems to efficiently absorb data from diverse sources.
• Data Pipeline: Building robust pipelines that streamline data processing.
• Website Work: Integrating web technologies with backend data systems.

Required Skills

We are looking for professionals who have expertise in:

• Software development with a strong focus on Python (including PySpark and Pandas).
• Infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Developing and deploying cloud-based (AWS) software services and solutions.
• Constructing and maintaining large-scale ETL pipelines and big data analytics pipelines within AWS environments.
• Integrating data from various sources using AWS big data technologies such as S3, Glue, EMR, Kinesis, and more.
• Experience with Hadoop, Apache Spark cluster management, SQL and RDBMS (MySQL, PostgreSQL, AWS RDS).
• Understanding of NoSQL databases like AWS DynamoDB.
• Proficiency in additional AWS Services like EC2, SageMaker, Lambda, and others.
