About this Role:

Rackner is looking for a skilled Sr. AWS Data Engineer to join our team. As a Data Engineer at Rackner, you will:

• Handle data ingestion
• Develop and maintain data pipelines
• Collaborate on website development tasks

Qualifications:

We are seeking professionals with expertise in the following areas:

• Software development and programming skills in Python (PySpark, Pandas)
• Experience with Terraform
• Developing cloud-based (AWS) software services and solutions
• Creating and managing large scale ETL pipelines in AWS environments
• Integrating data from multiple sources
• Creating and managing large scale big data analytics pipelines
• Proficiency with AWS big data technologies: S3, Glue, EMR, Kinesis, RDS, Redshift, Athena
• Experience with Hadoop and Apache Spark cluster management
• SQL and database development skills, using RDBMS like MySQL, PostgreSQL, AWS RDS
• NoSQL database experience, especially AWS DynamoDB
• Knowledge of AWS Services: EC2, S3, RDS, SageMaker, Athena, Glue, Lambda, EMR and more
