At Mindera, we are on the lookout for a skilled Data Product Owner to enhance our team. As a Data Product Owner, you will be pivotal in defining product strategy, roadmap, and prioritization for our data products. Your role will involve close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders, to deliver top-notch data products that meet our clients' needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and prioritize product features based on customer feedback, market research, and business priorities for data products.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and refine requirements, ensuring a clear understanding of product goals and objectives.
• Create and maintain the product backlog, including user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritization.
• Work closely with data teams to ensure timely and successful delivery of product increments.
• Provide clear direction and guidance to development teams, ensuring alignment with the product vision and strategy.
• Make decisions regarding feature scope, trade-offs, and prioritization to optimize value delivery.
• Conduct user acceptance testing and gather feedback to iterate and improve product features.
• Monitor and analyze key product metrics to measure performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Support the Learning team in producing training and education materials for internal and external upskilling as required.
• Communicate product status, updates, and priorities to stakeholders and leadership.
• Work with the Senior Product Manager or Product Director to prioritize the detailed product backlog, ensuring sprint-level releases align with the strategic product roadmap.

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Product Owner, preferably in data or analytics products.
• Strong understanding of data management, data warehousing, and data analytics.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to translate business needs and user requirements into clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and data querying languages (e.g., SQL) is a plus.
• Familiarity with machine learning and AI technologies.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
