Your Role
As a Data Production Assistant, you will:
- Ensure data is prepared and transmitted/uploaded to the OneOcean Data Servers accurately and timely.
- Resupply data to end-users when required.
- Order and distribute digital product licenses.
- Conduct regular quality checks on data both pre & post-delivery.
- Maintain accurate records regarding data delivery systems availability.
- Liaise with data suppliers to ensure correct data delivery and format.
- Maintain master databases and ensure all data is backed up.
- Maintain accurate procedures.
- Manage daily data delivery checks.
- Provide guidance to OneOcean Support teams on data delivery issues or customer inquiries.
- Perform any other activities relevant to the role.
What You Bring
- Great oral and written communication skills in English.
- GCSE grades A-C (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
- Experience with Windows Operating Systems and the Office suite.
- Ability to work for lengthy periods independently.
- Experience scanning documents.
- Familiarity with XML and web documents.
- Customer service experience (not necessarily technical).
- General technical awareness.
- A highly structured and conscientious approach to work.
- A flexible attitude and customer-focused mindset. Willingness to work outside of normal hours if required.
