Why This Role Is Important to Arcadia

The Data Quality & Integration Analyst will be an essential part of our high-growth Population Health and Analytics software company. Reporting to the Data Management Manager, this role will take ownership of health care data ingestion (such as plan, clinical, and ADT) necessary for population health activities.

Ideal candidates are passionate about data and technology, and are driven to improve healthcare delivery for millions of patients across the country. You will help integrate crucial data for Arcadia’s customers to analyze and act upon it, thus advancing overall population health.

What Success Looks Like

In 3 months

  • Understand Arcadia’s data monitoring processes and data quality tools.
  • Begin data integration implementation tasks with guidance from a senior analyst.
  • Build relationships across teams (Account Management, Implementation Management, Data Management).

In 6 months

  • Take responsibility for data quality and monitoring processes for specific customers.
  • Complete most data monitoring and quality tasks independently.
  • Contribute to process improvement discussions.
  • Develop expertise in healthcare data.

In 12 months

  • Fully own key data quality and monitoring processes.
  • Independently manage data quality and monitoring for a diverse range of customers.
  • Regularly engage in customer-facing conversations, articulating data quality nuances and issues clearly.
  • Contribute meaningfully to team process improvements.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Data Quality & Integration Analyst, you will:

  • Learn about population health and develop skills in data monitoring and quality analysis.
  • Create value by ensuring high-quality, trustworthy data for Arcadia’s customers.
  • Prepare, analyze, and integrate tens of millions of healthcare records.
  • Support customer success in value-based care and collaborate with internal teams.
  • Balance and deliver data quality and analysis throughout customer implementation and post-implementation monitoring.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure customers have the necessary data for improving population health.
  • Embrace new tools and technologies as Arcadia evolves its technology stack and adopts latest cloud practices.

What You'll Bring

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM or quantitative field, or equivalent technical experience.
  • Proficiency in querying and manipulating relational databases with SQL.
  • Familiarity with data analysis and data quality principles.
  • Experience analyzing healthcare data (claims and/or clinical).
  • Ability to share data quality analysis results with customers using Excel and other tools.
  • Eagerness to learn, attention to detail, and a creative approach to problem-solving.
  • Adaptability to evolving technology and healthcare environments.

Preferred Qualifications

While not mandatory, we would love for you to have:

  • A passion for collaboration and problem solving.
  • Experience with value-based care models.
  • Experience in an agile environment.
  • Familiarity with the AWS platform, specifically S3.
  • Advanced SQL skills or familiarity with languages like Python or R.
  • Experience with command line tools such as awk, and the use of regular expressions.
  • Experience using collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence.
