Data Quality Analyst Position at ICF

ICF, a prominent global advisory and technology services provider, is currently looking for a skilled Data Quality Analyst to join our team and enhance the data quality of systems for our esteem clients at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). This role is integral in supporting our scrum teams through various stages of the quality management lifecycle, including analysis, design, specification, implementation, go-live, and ongoing support.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in public health information systems or clinical health IT, quality management and control, and management consulting. Your previous work should demonstrate a commitment to outstanding customer service, a proven ability to manage complex technology initiatives, and solid project delivery experience in IT public or clinical health programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with application teams and experts to understand and refine data quality requirements.
  • Develop and maintain robust testing procedures and documentation for software quality assurance.
  • Monitor production systems to tackle and escalate potential issues effectively.
  • Engage routinely with department heads to prioritize data quality needs and streamline processes.
  • Ensure adherence to HL7 data standards and EHR integration through various APIs and interfaces.
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA guidelines and advocate for data privacy and security in all operations.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Sciences, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in data quality within clinical information management systems.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Java, or .NET environments.
  • Experience in HL7 mapping and message processing.
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain a Public Trust federal security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with state public health departments or federal agencies.
  • Familiarity with HL7 2.5.1, XML, FHIR, LOINC, SNOMED standards.
  • Practical knowledge of agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban.

Compensation and Location

The salary range for this role is $57,737 to $98,153, dependent on experience, skills, and location. This is a nationwide remote position, offering you the flexibility to work from anywhere in the US.
