Data Quality Analyst at Stryker Medical - Redmond, WA
Stryker Medical is seeking a dedicated Data Quality Analyst to join our Quality Assurance team in Redmond, WA. This role offers the flexibility to work both onsite and hybrid. As a Data Quality Analyst, you will support and enhance the analytics capabilities of our quality assurance team, helping drive data-driven insights and organizational adoption.
Responsibilities:
- Collaboratively gather requirements from stakeholders to ensure data meets expected results.
- Build strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Work with the Data Engineering team to create scalable data solutions, including complex models and statistical calculations.
- Simplify complex data to present information effectively across various organization levels.
- Collect, organize, and clean data to extract valuable insights.
- Develop Power BI reports and dashboards as per requirements, and provide training on usage.
- Troubleshoot and resolve reporting issues, ensuring technical accuracy and timely follow-up.
- Handle large data sets efficiently to derive custom insights and create SQL queries where needed.
- Conduct Quality Assurance (QA) activities to ensure data integrity and validation.
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of experience as a data analyst or in a similar role.
- Bachelor's degree in Data Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, or equivalent certifications and experience.
- Experience with Microsoft BI products and services.
- Basic software development skills to support Power BI tools.
Preferred Skills & Education:
- Master's degree.
- Extensive experience with Power BI tools.
- Previous experience in a regulated environment.
- Strong understanding of data analysis and visualization principles.
- Proficiency in SQL, DAX, and other data languages.
- Experienced in acquiring and preparing data from various ERP systems such as AS400, Oracle, SAP, and JDE.
- Proven ability to interpret and communicate analytical content effectively.
Salary: $58,700 - $118,600 annually, plus bonus eligibility and benefits. The exact salary may vary based on location and other factors, including skills and experience.
Travel Requirement: 10%
