About the Role

As the energy industry transitions to cleaner forms of energy, the challenges ahead are substantial. To support Shell’s ambition, the Data Quality Assurance Specialist will play a crucial role in designing and developing machine learning models, as well as refining and updating existing models. We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic Python Developer with in-depth knowledge of Machine Learning concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement machine learning models using Python and frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-Learn.
• Ensure proficiency in data preprocessing, feature engineering, and exploratory data analysis.
• Analyze and optimize model performance and accuracy through experiments.
• Handle large datasets and extract meaningful insights.
• Apply software engineering concepts to develop robust and scalable AI systems.
• Collaborate effectively on projects and work independently when needed.
• Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields.
• 2-3 years of experience as a Python Developer with a focus on Machine Learning.
• Experience with building web apps using Python packages like Plotly Dash, Streamlit, and Panel is an advantage.
• Familiarity with cloud-based AI/ML services.
