THIS IS WHERE YOU COME IN...

The task of a data quality analyst is to ensure that the data used in our organization is accurate, reliable, consistent, and meets predefined standards. The main goal is to maintain and improve the overall data quality, which is essential for informed decision-making, efficient operations, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:

• Working on our ongoing "Data Governance" Project, which includes areas such as data flows, data domain ownership, and data definitions.
• Development of our data platform, recognized by Microsoft as the best data and analytics solution in the Czech Republic, as data quality is a crucial prerequisite for its continued use.
• Integration of new data sources into the data platform to ensure our data quality standards.
• Evaluation of the quality of data from various source systems.
• Identification and documentation of anomalies, inconsistencies, and errors in the data.
• Working closely with data owners, system administrators, and other teams to rectify data errors and inconsistencies.
• Creation and implementation of data cleansing processes to correct or remove incorrect or incomplete data.
• Development and implementation of validation processes to verify the accuracy and completeness of data.
• Identification of root causes of data quality issues and collaboration with data owners to improve them.
• Definition of procedures and processes to prevent errors, duplications, and inconsistencies in data.
• Collaboration with data engineers, data analysts, and other teams to ensure alignment with data quality standards and requirements.
• Preparation of regular reports on data quality status and trends.
• Presentation of findings and recommendations.
• Training data users and all stakeholders to raise awareness of data quality standards and best practices.

Qualifications

YOU WILL NEED:

• Data experience
• Knowledge of Excel is essential; knowledge of SQL is a significant advantage.
• Attention to detail, reliability, independence, and consistency.
• Strong communication skills.
• Curiosity and analytical thinking when solving problems.
• Fluency in Czech and English.
